All cars and all bikes

If you're using LED turn signals, you must install Load Equalizers in order to make them blink at a normal rate. You need one load equalizer per SIDE of the car. The resistance is different depending on if you're installing just front OR rear, or both front AND rear:
- Front OR Rear: 6 ohm load equalizer
- Front AND Rear: 3 ohm load equalizer

Known exceptions to requiring a load equalizer:
Mazda Protege Sedan and P5 2001-2003: If replacing ONLY the fender or bumper signals with LED you don't need a load equalizer.

All cars

There is a risk that LEDs installed in the brake circuit may cause cruise control not to turn off when the brake is applied. Cruise control should be tested in a safe environment when new LEDs are installed in the brake circuit. Load equalizers likely will solve any problems but should also be tested after installation. We have also found that installing LED brake lights can cause cruise control not to work in some vehicles, and the automatic transmission to click on some vehicles. This can be solved by installing a Load Equalizer on the brake lights as well:
- 6 ohm load equalizer on one brake light will solve the problem in most vehicles, some may need load equalizers on both sides.
